Our Advisory Board
Dave, is the President & CEO of Dipexium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: DPRX) which he co-founded in 2010. Prior to co-founding Dipexium Pharmaceuticals, Dave served in senior executive capacities at MacroChem Corporation (OTC BB: MACM) and Bioenvision, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIVN).
Dave has raised over $180 million in equity capital over the past 15 years in a senior executive capacity and has lead the disposition of three early stage companies including two Nasdaq listed companies and one OTC BB company, in each case, in the health care sector.
In addition, Dave has delivered a number of value-driving licensing transactions both for in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities over the past 15 years and has served on the board of directors of Dipexium Pharmaceuticals, MacroChem Corporation and Abeona Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ABEO) since 2007.
Vocationally, Dave is an experienced M&A and Corporate Securities lawyer (Paul Hastings New York office) and former auditor in the Healthcare Practice Group at Ernst & Young (New York office).
Bob, is the director of entrepreneurship programs in the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and adjunct associate professor of entrepreneurship.
He has served in a variety of senior administrative roles at the University of Chicago, most recently associate vice president for marketing strategy and associate vice-president for research.
Bob was a founder of the Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization and the Midwest Research University Network.
He is a director of Illinois’ Technology Development Fund, a board member of Manufacturing Renaissance, and a co-chair of Hyde Park Angels Healthcare Ambassador Circle.
Matt Stultz, has extensive leadership and management experience in large scale ERP implementations, technology centralization and shared services, solution and application architecture, and financial/budget management planning.
Matt is a thought leader in the areas of running successful technology transformations in enterprise mobility, e-business, application development, application and enterprise architecture, global data center operations, and social networking.
Currently, Matt is SVP & GM of the North American Retail & Fashion Professional Services Organization. He has worked for several Fortune 500 companies including SAP, Nike, The Home Depot, Newell Rubbermaid, Honeywell, Olin Corporation, and Microsoft.
For his efforts in transforming Newell Rubbermaid’s Global Business Analytics, SAP recognized Matt and his team’s accomplishments with the 2009 Intelligence Platform Excellence Leadership Award and a 2010 cover article in SAP Insider Profiles Magazine.
Matt is serving on the LinkedIn Social Executive Council for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn Integration Initiatives. He is also on the LinkedIn TechExecs and CIO Forum Councils.
Matt has a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the Arizona State University.
Marius, has over 28 years of SAP experience. He has served in various global project leadership positions and has consulted extensively in the area of Logistics, System integration and Technical Architecture, and has worked with such consulting firms as Deloitte and BearingPoint.
Before founding DC&M Partners, Marius was COO/CFO of a Silicon Valley internet startup.
He has a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Technical University Eindhoven (Netherlands).
Jim Shad, is seasoned executive with a 38 years experience in a diverse set of industries spanning consumer products, health care, consumer electronics, major appliances and housing.
Mr. Shad began his career as a territory salesman with Procter and Gamble in 1979, rising to the head of North American Market Strategy in 2000. He was appointed Global Chief Customer Officer for Novartis' Consumer Health Division in 2003, and in 2009 was appointed LG USA President and CEO. Jim later became Viking’s Chief Revenue Officer prior to the sale of the company in 2012 and in 2013 became President of C3 Design, a small start-up in the housing sector. He is currently Principal of Renaissance Growth Consultants.
Mr. Shad recently served as an advisory board member to Precipio Corporation and currently serves on the advisory board at Babel St. Corporation. He guest lectures on Leadership and Business Strategy at The University of Georgia Terry College of Business Executive MBA program.
Mr. Shad is a 1979 graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Business
Joyce Cruickshank, is currently the Business Solutions Officer for Amtrak Operations, Northeast Corridor Infrastructure and Investment, Americas Railroad. Joyce’s customers represent over 86% of all of Amtrak staff and provide all core services for Amtrak.
Prior to joining Amtrak, Ms. Cruickshank was the acting CIO/CTO at Corizon Health and worked at AOL/Time Warner for eleven years starting as a Portfolio Director and ending her career as a VP of Technology for the largest revenue division within AOL.
In addition, Ms. Cruickshank head leadership roles in 5 start ups from online banking to ecommerce and telecommunications.
Joyce Cruickshank studied at West Virginia Wesleyan as well as courses in Executive Leadership, Product Management, Project Management and Communications.
Ms. Cruickshank is a co-chair of the Capital area Corporate Council for the American Cancer Society and has held previous board positions in other non-profits.
